Close to the beautiful Eden Valley yet within easy reach of both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales Chapel Farm offers a tranquil central base for nature lovers walkers and sightseeing. Appleby with its castle and horse fair is 8 miles and popular Kendal is 19 miles.

Historic towns and villages and the 'coast to coast' and Pennine Way long distance paths are all within easy reach. A trip on the scenic Settle – Carlisle railway from Kirby Stephen is a real must.
