Set in rural location close to Hadrian's Wall Springhouse Country Park is a superb base from which to explore this magical area and is home to a superb array of wildlife. You can discover many great walks through the beautiful local countryside right on your doorstep.

Nearby Hexham with its ancient Abbey is well worth a visit. Charming villages and great country pubs are a plenty. Durham Newcastle Northumberland National Park and the breathtaking North East coastline are also within easy reach.

Lovely location very relaxing small site. Our break wasn't long enough to see & do all we wanted to in 3 days we managed country-side beaches & historic gardens we'll have to come back to do some more! Must say the site was perfect for us (3 generations of us) Mrs T

This was a very good standard of accommodation of its type in an excellent position. We are unlikely to return there as we practically never go to the same place twice however good. But we will recommend it. Mr S
